Hellwalker works though because it has such a fast reload speed and using grenades you can keep your damage going too (which I suppose you can do with any gun, hence its one of the best annoints). As mentioned the hex is a great grenade to pair with it. Or hunter seeker, which is especially good with megavore fl4k.

I personally would've much rather a 5th and possibly 6th character since I think they are better for diversity of the playthroughs and add much more interesting gameplay. I'm probably looking at it overly biased since Krieg is my favorite character in probably all of gaming. Maybe I'm thinking too narrowly of it.
